Kayaking, Canoeing and Rafting

KayaksBoat rentals and lessons are available onsite through Explore Newfoundland.  Learn how fun and easy kayaking and canoeing truly are. Emphasis is placed on having fun and most importantly – safety. We have put smiles on the faces of beginners from 5 to 80 years old. The Humber River provides access to calm waters for a leisurely paddle and mini-rapids for the more adventurous souls.

Want something even more relaxing? Step into a raft and let your cares slip away as you drift along winding stretches of pure, still water. Enjoy the scenery – boreal forested cliffs, salmon swimming past your feet and birds
soaring above you.

Tours leave at 10am & 2pm Monday-Sunday.

Tour rates (subject to $120+HST minimum charge):
Per adult: $60+HST
Per child: $30+HST
Any child under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Resident guests are entitled to a 20% discount 

Single Kayak – $19/hr, $49 for 3 hrs OR $60 for 6 hours

Explore Newfoundland is proud to offer full day fishing adventures throughout Western Newfoundland. Get up early to watch the sun paint the waters of the Humber River red as you battle a feisty salmon at the end of your line.  There are over a hundred fishing locations in the area, and our guides will be sure to show you the best spots to increase your chances of getting the most impressive catch.

Half Day (3 hrs) -$75pp (Two or more resort guests) & $125pp (One resort guest)

Full Day (6 hrs) – $150pp (Two or more resort guests) & $200pp (One resort guest)

Fishing equipment is included (except waders).

*An additional $50 per session will be charged for participants who are not booked in at the Marble Inn Resort
Clients can arrange for additional time on a tour at a rate of $50 per hour.

*Additional mileage fees may apply if travelling more than 5km from Marble Inn Resort to fishing site

Boat Tours

Charter our 19ft Smokercraft boat and explore the beautiful Bay of Islands. Visit the ex fishing village of Woods Island that was abandoned following resettlement. $450 per group of up to 6 adults.

Whether you head down to Bottle Cove to wander along seaside cliffs, venture up to discover the true tale of the Man in the Mountain or head into the UNESCO World Heritage site of Gros Morne National Park, the local area has the hike for you!  Explore Newfoundland offers details on many guided and self guided tours.

We offer guided hikes to 'Man on the Mountain' and Marble Mountain for $150+HST per tour group


This all season adventure will have you zipping through Marble Mountain at 30km/hr on nine different lines.  Soar past the best view of Steady Brook falls from 285ft in the air and feel your heart pounding as you take in the sights.  For pricing and more information head to Marble Zip Tours.


The West Coast of Newfoundland is home to Humber Valley Golf Course and the Blomidon Golf Club and the Marble Inn Resort is situated directly in the middle of both making it an ideal location for the golf enthusiast.  The Humber Valley River Course has 105 uniquely designed bunkers and has won seven awards for course design and quality.   The Blomidon Golf Club offers eighteen holes with stunning views of the Blow Me Down Mountain and the Humber River.
