Western Newfoundland

Western Newfoundland is known for its breathtaking vistas in all seasons. In winter, step outside to find the snowy runs of Marble Mountain, perfect for skiing, snowboarding and accessing the snowmobile trails.

In summer, nearby Gros Morne National Park offers amazing hiking to the north while to the south the Bay of Islands is spectacular with panoramic views from cliff-tops and gentle meanders to hidden coves. All of this is tied together with the International Appalachian Trail that passes the resort.

If you prefer to watch the sun rise or set in the reflection of the Humber River or catch the ‘big one’, avail of our fishing tours or kayaking rentals. Nearby golf courses offer beautiful views and challenging greens.

A little further afield, natural highlights including whales and icebergs lie offshore form North America’s only ancient Viking village. For more information on exploring the cultural and natural highlights of our province, Linkum Tours are happy to assist in any way.
